How MCM Payments Work: Revenue Shares, Timing and Statements
Published by SAN1GO · · 2 min read

Money is the reason most publishers move to Ad Manager and AdX, so it pays to understand how earnings flow once a partner is involved. Google's guide to MCM revenue sharing explains that the model is built around automatic payment splitting.
Auto-payment details
When payment is handled by Google, each side of an MCM relationship receives its agreed share automatically. The parent child payment flows documentation states the percentage paid to the parent is set in the invitation, anywhere from 0 to 100%.
A simple example
Say a site earns 1,000 USD in AdX revenue in a month, and the invitation sets the parent's share at 20%. Google routes 200 USD to the parent and 800 USD to the publisher. Both amounts come from the same finalized earnings, so they move together if invalid traffic deductions apply.
When the numbers appear
The Multiple Customer Management help page says MCM payment information is usually ready around the 15th of the following month. For Ad Manager payment cycles in general, the cycle runs like this:
- On the last day of the month, Google checks which accounts reached the payment threshold.
- By the 2nd of the next month, the previous month's revenue appears in Transactions.
- Toward the end of that month, the payment is calculated and sent.
- Bank transfers usually land 4 to 10 days later.
Changing the share
The percentage is locked into the agreement. To change it, Google requires the parent to end the agreement and send a new invitation, which the child must accept again.
Verification still applies
Even when 100% of payment is routed to a parent, Google requires the child to complete identity verification with its own legal documents. Plan for this early.
What to check every month
- Finalized versus estimated earnings
- Deductions for invalid traffic or adjustments
- The share routed to your partner, compared with your agreement
- Small differences caused by time zones or currency conversion
We provide consolidated monthly payouts on net-30 terms, meaning a month's earnings are paid within about 30 days after the month closes, in line with Google's own cycle. To check whether your account qualifies for AdX through us, apply for a free account review.
